Can some one help me with a very frustrating problem I've been having in regards to playing VCD's on my standalone player (which is a Pioneer DV-343) This player use to play my VCD's but suddenly has stopped. It can't identify the disc as a VCD anymore. I tried calling Pioneer but they gave me the run around and no help at all... Can anyone help?
Thanks Allot!

It sounds like a problem with the drive mechanism...
You may need to get your player repaired or perhaps it is time to have it retire.
Have you tried one of the those DVD/CD cleaners?

Thanks for the tip, I have NOT yet tried a cleaning disc but I'll get one tomorrow and try it out... It would be great if that's all I needed to do.
