  1. I'm trying to rip a dvd and I get the video fine but when I use DVD2AVI to try to set up the audio capture, there is no MP3 menu item under the Audio menu. I'm using DVD2AVI 1.77.3.

I'm thinking that this is why I 'm not getting a WAV file to go with my video.

    Any thoughts?

  2. Hi:

No, I don't think that having no MP3 menu in DVD2AVI is the cause of not getting the WAV file.

If you don't have MP3 menu, it should be (very probable) that no MP3 Codec is installed to use it in DVD2AVI.

Regarding the wav file, It is probable that you are not using the correct settings in the software. I don't remember well and I am not in my computer so I don't have the software in front, but I believe that you have to use dolby in the audio option and choose the right track from the DVD. Do not use MP3 if you want a WAV file.

Sorry I can not be of more help.
