Does anyone know who makes the OEM DVD +RW/+R drives for Dell ? Is Dell using HP, Sony, Phillips drives ?

Hey, I just bought two Precision 340 for work with the dvd+rw in them. They are the Phillips models. The model number is 28 or something like that.

Thanks for responding. Any reports on how well they work ? Compatibility etc.. I was concerned because the Phillips DVD +RW/+R have not received as good reviews as the HP DVD +RW/+R.

I'm putting the systems together as we speak. I don't even have any +R or +RW media yet. I'll report back at the end of the week and let you know of our experiences.
