  1. hi all, i need some help:
i have a movie in a avi format that has a 23.976 frames.
i want to convert it to svcd, but thempg has only a 25 or 29.97
    convert.
so i guess i need to convert the file to a 25 or 29 farmes
    am i right ?????

so i tried to convert with virtualdub but i think the sound have a delay or something how can i change it ?

or may be theres a 23.7 convert for thempg to convert avi to mpeg ?

  2. TMPGEnc does have the option to encode to 23.976. Load the NTSC Film template or use the wizard and choose NTSC Film, then encode like normal. This will give you a VCD Comliant MPG file with a 352x240 resolution and 23.976 frames per second

    hope tha helps

  5. alakoma: Use TMPG's SVCD NTSC Film template. It's 23.976 fps with 3:2 pulldown applied which makes it 29.97 fps so DVD Players can play it. Basically it'll encode the movie at 23.976 fps (like your source) then apply special tags (3:2 pulldown) to make it 29.97 fps.

  7. If u use CCE u can always use Pulldown.....it does the pulldown for u...don't try to use Pulldown on a file that has encoded bij TMPGenc....it is already done
And yes...we all wear wooden shoes here in Holland...
