ok I have a .INF installer file but I have changed how it opens so It wont self install anymore. I changed it to a readme file so how can I change it back to .INF I have XP pro if that matters.

O no It is in .NFO format but I have it set up to open with Wordpad but It is supposed to self install when I click on it. What can I do?

nfo doesn't self install.
It's a descritpion file that usually acompanies warez. -

NFO is just an info file......
Open it in Notepad....Wordpad or whatever.....
It's not an installer.
If that's all you have after a download then you haven't downloaded the .exe anyway.
NFO is just the information on how to crack the .exe........(usually... :P )
