    Hi
I have managed to use CCE with single pass, no problem but when I try to use a 3pass it is very hitty missy If I get the correct output size,it is either 2.5 gig or 4.5 gig what I want is something about 3.8 gig.I have seen calculators for single pass, but is there their some sort of calculator or guide for a multipass?

If you set the average bitrate to the calcualted it should be about that size. Check www.doom9.org for some great cce guides.

  3. Just use a standard bitrate calculator for single or multipass, set it as you average bitrate and it should come out at the correct size, the multipass encoding just allows CCE to distribute the bitrate better, allocating a higher bitrate to more complex scenes and lower for scenes that do not need it but so the quality should be better, I use the Mad DVD bitrate calculator and all my encodes come out to within a couple of MB's of the required size
