I am new to video capture thingy. hope some1 can enlighten me.
I recorded a VHS video (NTSC format) using PowerVcr2. however, the video turns out black/white? how can i bring back the color?

Your capture card is either in wrong color mode (should be NTSC) or you're using the wrong input selection. If you use composite, then select composite, not S-video.

If skittelsen is right about you having cabling problem,
then you should not see anything in your preview window.
Macrovision can also cause you lost most of the picture.
If it is Macrovision then you get voice, and only afew second of video.
