I use the guide posted here ( AVI to SVCD the FOOLPROOF Way with CCE) and I try to load the .vdr file to framesever from VDub and I get an error, explaining that the registry doesn't have the required files to open the .vdr file. Any ideas?

If your getting the MSVCR70.dll error, do a search on the forums for a link to the .dll to put in your windows/system(32) directory.
Remeber that only 2.50 and 2.66 can open .vdr files. -
heh, I have that .dll file in that directory, and I'm running 2.50 SP
