I used DVD2SVCD ...when it completed or at least I think it completed it said "read beyond end of file", however I'm not sure if it has completed or not? according to the instruction on here I need a text editor to extract the cue-file, so I do have Vedit Plus as my text editor. Everthing that the DVD2SVCD did went to a folder i made.. In there I can locate the DVDAVI PROJECT FILE the VOB files & the extracted audio. But I'm really lost on this .cue/bin? Where is it how do I burn one etc. I have Nero and I looked in vain for a .cue/bin file using my text editor. Can anyone help me here I would really like to burn a svcd. And I want to apologize for my ignorance in advance. And any help will be greatly apprecaited. thanks, Will

it should be in
C:
Program Files
DVD2SVCD
Movies
There you will find all the stuff including the cue and bin files. After you have found these, just direct your burning software to load the cue file and do this for how ever many cues you actually have...1-3
Done
Just shoot me some mail if you need any additional help -
to burn the bin/queue file using nero, click on file and then "burn image" (or words to that effect) and then follow the path that morphius laid out.

Thanks for the info guys, but I don't have any cue/bin files in that folder or any folder? So w/o those i'm lost. Will

ima2hd,
I just guessing, but it looks to me DVD2SVCD ran into an error before it created the bin/cue files and may have crashed without exiting. Try this,
Open up DVD2SVCD and go to the misc. tab, Click on recover and look for a DVD2SVCD Crash recovery file. Load this up and hit continue and it should pick up at the last stage that was completed successfully.
One other thing, next time you might want to create a separate folder for the bin/cue files. DVD2SVCD does create so many files it is a little hard to sort thru all of them. Go to the CD Image tab and where it says folder (located at the upper right hand side), direct it to the new folder you created. -
Kayfam: I deleted SVCD and re-did it from the setup. I'm thinking there is some sort of problem. Do you know what "read beyond end of file" means?? This is what it said when I thought I had finished. By any chance could cce not work with some computers? Should a cce window pop up sometime during the process showing the movie as with TMPGEnc? Thanks Will

ima2hd: To be honest I'm the wrong person to be asking about CCE. The only problem I'm aware of is that some people with VIA chipsets running AMD processors have had some difficulties.

Aha, I had a problem with getting the "floating point error" with DVD2SVCD and CCE 2.64. I never could get this to work.
So, I got a copy of CCE 2.5, and now I get this "read beyond end of file" error.
No one has posted a solution so my guess is that the experts have not seen this yet. I may be able to offer a solution. I am trying different things. If I get one I will post it here. One thing I do know is that it does not have anything to do with the processor. I am using a pentium 4. I think it may have something to do with stopping and restarting a new conversion without deleting the old files, or with the way CCE is set up (note I had it pointing to the initialization file for CCE 2.5 ... cspte.exe) and not the file cctsp.exe (which was created when I installed CCE)).
As of this moment, it looks like it may work this time (fingers, toes, and everything else crossed ... including my eyes).
Take care,
Rick
