  7. Indy,
I have a question for you, once you create the Title screen in whatever program you use. the resulting file is an AVI ?? what program do you use then to join the Title screen file to the main movie file ??
I've tried VirtualDub 1.4 using the append command and it tells me that the file attributes of the 2 AVIs differ and was unsuccessful.

any help would be appreciated ..

  8. The two AVIs that you created for the title and the main clip should have the same parameters. I suggest you change the title parameters to match that of the main clip. Both AVIs should have same resolution, framerate, compression.
Open the main clip in virtual dub. Click on File-> File information. Note down the AVI file parameters. CLose the file.
Open the title AVI clip. Change the parameters by applying filters, FrameRate conversion, or compression as required. Save as a New AVI.
You can now open and append the segments.

The program is called TeleScreen-32 and will do what you want to do. You can download a demo. Its real easy to use. The price is $195 and am considering purchasing it for adding lyrics to music videos if that gives you an idea of how good this program is.

  14. You may create complex title or animation in Flash using SWfX/Swish/Flash, then use SWF2Video to convert flash to video with alpha channel information.
Or use SWF2Video Premiere plugin to directly import the Flash file with alpha.

    Check it here:
