  1. HI :

    Just downloaded a film split into 2 parts in mpeg, the film is O.K but the picture is very dark. Is there any way of enhancing the quality of it, by making it any lighter? If so could anyone help by telling me how? Or the tool required to change this.

    is it dark only on your computer screen or on your tv also .. because unless both are calibrated the same - it may be a lot different ,,,,


    anyway - you will have to re-encode it to make it brighter, you can do this by either directly with tmpgenc or by frame serving through v-dub (after making temp file with dvd2avi first) .. guides to both methods on the left ..

    As above !
    But you can use Power DVD 4, it has a great brightness control ! for PC playback. VCD/DVD would probably be OK
