    I hope somebody can help me, does anybody know if it is possible to save vids. on the harddrive? For example: Music videos from music videos.com?

  3. Are you saying that you want to save video as it's streamed to your pc??

    If so then the software you need depends on the format of the video being streamed.

    If you're watching Windows Media Format - asf wmv wma etc - then try the Hinet Recorder from http://www.hoonnet.com/english1/recorder_use.htm

    If you're trying to capture Real Media Format then it's not quite so easy.
    Streambox VCR is the program that you want.
    Unfortunately Real's copyright/license was(IS) infringed by the program so it's been deativated - that is it's no longer freeware.
    Search on Google for StreamboxVCR and you'll find a download with a crack/patch to activate it.

    And even with the right program you may find that the streamed video is copy protected/save disabled etc.
