  1. Hi,

A little challenge for you all:

I want to create a computer system that will encode data the fastest, im not worried about cost - but be sensible. Dual processors - any advantage?

So, list the computer specs you would expect that could encode video and sound data the fastest.

32 way Xeon, nuff said. A little chapers you can go 4 way Xeon that board is only about $1500. On the side of realisim you could build a nice dual Athlon setup.

Does dual help? Depends on what your encoding with... if it supports dual processors (like tmpgenc or CCE) then yes.
