i have been converting the bitrate of m2v files that are too large for a dvd-r so i can re-author them to fit. all of a sudden dvdsp won't see the m2v files. i can't figure out what i did. anybody ran into this before?

What do you mean by "won't see"? Are you talking about not being able to select the file when trying to import? If so, click and drag the file to the asset window. If there is some kind of problem with the file, DVDSP will display a error message. If it says "Bad Format" run the file through MPEGAppend.
