I created a SVCD and in the beginning of the movie it has perfect sync but near the end of movie the sound becomes out of sync. The audio is offset by 1.5 secs. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

this out of sync question was "answered" earlier, sometimes movies will have more than one framerate throughout the entire movie, so if the framerate changes like that and you dont decode to quicktime movie first (without specifying any framerate) you run the risk of the movie going out of sync (from what i hear) its a bitch

mpeg2decX has a variable frame rate option. I heard it should be able to take care of that kind of problem.

How in the hell can movie have variable framerate, when shown on TV?
Same problem applies for me, when recording live TV-shows too. No sync problems, when recording to DVD, but terrible gradual unsync, when making SVCD even from same recording.
Have PVR-250 and have used Ulead DVD MF, DVD WS, nanocosmos, TMPG, BBmpeg. Nothing helps. Only re-encoding in DVD MF into SVCD compliant and then burning in nero instead of MF seemed to give good results. TMPG and BB remuxes are outsync allready on PC.
