If you are making SVCD/CVD (mpeg2)
I'm pretty sure if the source is interlace you encode it interlaced.
DVD rips are Progressive, but is that always soo?
I just ripped Requiem_For_a_Dream DVD and some how
it seems to be interlaced.
Artsy films are maybe taped using highend DV camcorders?
and DV is interlace by nature.
Why is it that Smartripper can not le me know
interlace/progressive and fieldorder?
Why can it not pass this info on to TMPGEnc?
Where is the indept info for interlace on vcdhelp???

DVD video can indeed be interlaced.
