  1. Hi,
I seem to be only getting right channel sound when capturing in virtual dub. Whenever I enter my tv application (wintv 2000) i get sound from both left and right channels just fine. I'm using a hauppauge wintv pci-fm under windows xp. Thanks in advance.

Did you configure VDub to capture in stereo? You know, in capture mode, select Audio-->Compression-->your favorite stereo setting?

  3. Yeah, I've tried that, it didn't work. Anyone else have any other ideas?

Yeah. Load your video into Gold Wave, then see if both channels have audio. If you are missing a channel, copy the present audio channel, then mix it to the missing audio's channel. Save, then mux it with the original video with TMPGEnc. Good enough?
    Hello.

  5. also try double clicking your audio icon bottom right task bar. check the recording options (properties) and make sure your BALANCE slider from the LINE IN or AUX or whatever you record from is centered.
