Hi
I just got the trial version of CCE.
I am a little confused by its interface. What files will it encode ?? ie mpg, avi??
Because when I select new or the open file icon its searching for "ecl files??
How do I open video files to encode??
What limitations are on the trial version??
Cheers

As far as i know the only limitation of CCE is that you will get a nasty CCE logo on Everything that you encode.
So what you will need is a patch to remove the Logo.
To load up a AVi/Divx or .Avs in CCE right click on the main window and select ADD, then browse to where you chosen AVI/Divx/AVS is, then select Edit and you will be into the main workings of CCE. -
Yes it will transcode mpg. You have to frameserve with either virtual dub or avisynth. The AVS file listed in the supported filetypes is the format avisynth scripts use.
You really need to follow a guide to use CCE. You can't just expect to load your source and encode. -
Fair point Adam I was just gonna have a little look at it first then check out some guides.
Cheers
