Hi everyone, I have a small question to ask. What compressor/codec should I use after capturing and editing the video? I don't use any compressor when capturing but sometimes the video is long and when I edit it, I want to save it but I don't know if I should use any compressor. I want the vido to be high quality, but I also don't want it to take up much space. For example, what should I do if I want to put 44mins of video on one 74min CD? What compressor should I use when and after capturing the video? I hope you understant what I'm saying coz at the moment I can't think a lot as it is 1:30am.

  2. I dont think we can give you an answer until we understand if you want to watch it on a DVD player or just watch it from a coputer.

If you only want it to fit on a cdr so you can watch it on other computers I would suggest DivX with a higher bitrate than the default.

If you want to watch it on a DVD player then your only real choices are MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 ...but make sure your DVD player will play VCD's first

Well, I want to watch it on computer, but as I said before, I want the quality to be good. I don't like when I see big pixels on the screen.
