  1. I finally made a SVCD on a CDR that works well on my DVD player. I utilized the trick where you put a VCD header and burn as a VCD non complient.

My question is, now that I have a SVCD cdr, can I just make multiple copies for my family by just using the "copy CD" function in Nero or do I need to create each cdr burning similar to how I did the first one.

    Thanks - Carl

  3. Yes you can do 1:1 copy with NERO. But if it's possible I'd recommend CloneCD. For both of them the best way to do is copy(read) image to hard drive first then write from harddrive to new blank CDR.

  4. What is the trick where you use headers and burn non-compliant etc? Is that possibly why my Nero burnt VCD will play on my comp, but not on my Apex DVD player?

  5. Its a way to trick your DVD player into thinking its playing a VCD when your actually encoded a SVCD. If you just made a regular VCD and are trying to play it on your APEX and its not doing it, then my guess is you have a problem with the encoding.

In any case here is the link
