Hi. Does anyone out there have a copy of the very last episode of the 1994 short-lived ABC show, "Byrds of Paradise"?

This show included a young Jennifer Love Hewitt. It's a fact that the last show (set in Hawaii) was aired only in Hawaii (unlike all other episodes); and it was aired only once.

It was called, variously, "Da Plays Da Ting"/"Twelfth Night O' Whatevah" [sic]. The cast recited Shakespeare in Pidgin English (a slang dialect sometimes mistaken for real Hawaiian language.)

This is a real collector's item for Jennifer Love Hewitt fans. Can anyone put the full episode onto YouTube or something?

It has to be Fair Use because: (1) It's very unlikely to be issued on DVD and (2) Educational airings would be non-profit, etc.

"fair use" doesn't apply to watching or recording an entire show.

[edit] should have added the implied "after 16 years" to the above statement. and that time shifting only is fair use if you record the show off the air yourself.

Whoa! What is the basis for THAT definition of Fair Use?

The Supreme Court allowed home recordings, even of an entire show. You have to record it yourself, when it is broadcast. This is part of "fair use" and is commonly known as the Betamax decision: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Corp._of_America_v._Universal_City_Studios,_Inc.

The original poster's assertions have no grounds in "fair use" as far as I can see however.
