I have a strange problem when capturing with my Asus GeForge3 (Philips sa7108). I'm trying to capture from TV using the composite video. When I open VirtualDub and go to the capture mode everything looks fine except that over and under the picture there is a black panel (tv-program is in 4:3 but the picture in VirtualDub seems to be more like 16:9 and large part of the original picture is under those black panels). I have tried all versions of the WDM-drivers (currently 1.08). Only program that sets the picture right is Asus digital-vcr but otherwise that program is too buggy.
what can I do?
thanks for any help.
