Audio in DVD player is fine but not in DVDx or Flaskmpeg

I hear broken audio when I preview/playback in DVDx 2.0 or FlaskMpeg 0.6 and it results in very bad audio of the ripped DivX/Mpeg. But if I play the original DVD in either a Hardware or a software DVD player, the audio is perfectly fine.

Any ideas what might be wrong and how to overcome the problem?

could be many things, try it with another movie, it that movie is stuffed too, then try different software, if it still dosent work then pull your hair out and screem.

This is the first DVD I am seeing this symptom with. Other DVDs work fine - that is, the audio I hear in DVD player is same as what I hear in DVDx or FlaskMpeg's preview/playback.

Sounds like time to pull hair!
