capturing stills??

Hello I have footage already on tape from my camcorder. Would like to capture some single frames as stills. I already have a capture card. Can this be done without to much hassle??

Not very hard. Capture the video to Virtual Dub. When you play it back, stop where you want to capture. Select Video copy input source to clipborad. Now the scene you are looking at is in your clipboard.
