  1. I am trying to copy DVD's that I have already made with MyDVD and that currently work in my stand alone player to another DVD. To do this I copy all of the files off of the DVD to a temp folder and then copy them on to a new DVD-R in exactly the same way with the same disc name using EZCD Creator V5 Platinum. The problem is that these discs are not readable by my stand alone player anymore although they are valid on my computer.

I know that you're probably going to tell me to get Nero (I don't want to pay for it just to copy stupid DVD-R's). Is there any way to do this with EZCD Creator that will work properly? Has anyone been able to do this? I would LOVE to hear back from someone with any feedback at all!

  2. Use DVD Decrypter...it's free Just have it create an ISO image of the original and then use it to burn that image to your new DVD-R.

  4. Are you checking what mode 1 or 2 that the disk is being made by?
Mode 2 works the best for me when I burn DVD's 3 for 3 players.

  5. To mol3000:

Have you tried the latest version of Nero (5.5.9.9)?
They seem to have improved the compatibility of DVD movie burning.
RealaT Bytes, but that's what life is.

  6. mol3000: nero is fine for dvd burning, why do a few people moan about it? i do all of mine in nero and they work in about 4 seperate dvd players, people must be burning in the wrong mode/filesystem

  7. using Nero's latest upgrade makes the burning process simple. I like using the new Nero Express (in the new Nero). You can't screw it up that way.
