    I have AVI video file and AVI sound file is there any way i canput the two together with out useing TMPENC, because i still want the file to stay as an AVI.

    Virtualdub.

    To remultiplex an audio and video stream together:

    Load the AVI, File Menu
    Load the WAV file, Audio Menu
    Make sure both menus are set to "Direct stream copy"
    "Save as AVI" from the File Menu
    "Today is only yesterdays tomorrow"
