video prob.

i am using
SMART RIPPER
DVD2AVI
and when i get to TMPGEnc the video has blury motion line things where frames overlap looking like its motion streeks or somthing i realy need help

sounds like you are seeing interlacing effects.

If you are converting to VCD size mpeg then you don't need both fields so try selecting just one and the problem should vanish.

Also you can try to change the field order in TMPG or check "Swap field order" in DVD2AVI.

Try usuing Flask with bbmpeg124 codec.

ok i rip it fine and dvd2avi is fine but when i get to TMPGEnc at the bottom of the screen i put the settings like
this

Video Source: C:\My Documents\artist\someday.d2v
Audio Source: C:\My Documents\artist\someday AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps 48KHz.wav

output file name C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\someday.mpg

and the rest are default settings i have tryed sellecting load next to settings and select DVD and that gets rid of the blurry movment but then it dosent play on any outher computer? what is my problum is it TMPGEnc Beta 12F or somthing else? it seams like it wants to filter it or somthing?
