  1. I have an file that is .mpg at 796 megs. Its bitrate is too high for my dvd player and keeps freezing. Ulead DVD Movie Factory says it is not the right format for svcd or vcd when I try to author menus. I decided to convert it to svcd per it has the right bitrate. but it makes the file to big for a disc. What can I do? I don't know what other info would be helpful so please ask if you need more.

    Thanks

  9. It's possible that the mpg you had gotten elsewhere is corrupt, or needs a change. The only solution I may have for you is to try VCD Gear. Here you will find the capabilities to convert an mpeg to a mpeg compliant format.
