SVCD or VCD

Hi

How do you tell if the file is a VCD file or a SVCD file.
The filename is: Bad.Company.SVCD.TS-Centropy.CD1.mpg
and the size is 788Mb

It says SVCD in the name, but it ends with mpg, isn't that VCD format?

Are there any program that can tell you the format of this type of file?

Ok, SVCD in the file name is pretty much a give away that its a Svcd file. Both VCD and SVCD end in .mpg. If you want to check to make sure I believe you can open nero and do a standard compilation cd and just check what mpg format it has next to the file. MPEG-1 = VCD, MPEG-2= SVCD.
