  1. I have tried converting a SVCD mpeg file to a proper dvd mpg2 file using DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc. I opened the svcd mpg in DVD2AVI and converted the mpg file to a .d2v and a .mpa file. I then imported these files to TPMGEnc and used the DVD(NTSC) template to encode the svcd mpg to a mpg2 dvd file.

The converting process works fine but when i try playing back the mpg2 file the audio is out of sync with the video. What am i doing wrong ?

Do i have to separate the audio and video separatley ?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanx

Was the original SVCD in PAL, NTSC or NTSC Film?

All three standards have differing framerates and doing a straight conversion between them will give you sync errors.
