  1. HI

Has anyone had problems trying to open a mpeg 2 file captured with ATI
MMC 7.6 in TMPGEnc as I keep getting an error msg come up. I have tryed the mpeg 2 plugin for TMPGEnc but still can't get it to work. Any advice would be grateful.

    Thanks

Yep, MMC 7.7 does this (uses the mpg extension for mpeg-2), but with earlier versions you have to change it manually (or just upgrade to 7.7).
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  6. The first time I installed TMPGEnc I didn't put the MPEG2 plugin into the TMPGEnc dir. I just ran the regupdate from where it was. When it didn't work I went back and read the directions and was able to do it the right way. After that I didn't have any more problems.
