  1. ok recent vcds i make stutter... however.. before i made music videos with maxell cdrs and i had no problem playin them on my vcd.. but i just bought new cdrs 100 for $30 Canadian.. it was a good deal.. for no name brand cdrs.. but i thought what the heck.. pirated VCDs from Asia worked on my vcd player before.. and im sure they used crappy quality cdrs too...

so then i made some music vidoes and i found out they were stutterin.. at first i let nero do my encodin and i used burn speed 6x cuz thats the highest my burner could support... so i thought ok maybe the stutterin was due to a high burn speed.. so i tried at 4x.. still found stutterin and then i switched to 2x AND THERE WAS STILL STUTTERIN!!!!!

so i thought ok.. mayeb its the encodin.. so i came on this site and i used TMPGEnc to encode my files and burned it with nero.. but i still had stutter problems...

so then i was thinkin... ok wtf... it must be these dam cheap cds.. they suck.. but then i read the boards and a lot of ppl had this problem too.. and i dont think its possible we all used crappy cdrs.. so then i tried playin one of my old vcds that i bought and it stuttered on my vcd player!!!! every old movie that didnt stutter before stutters now!!!!

WTF??? DID THESE CHEAP CDRS MESS UP MY VCD PLAYER?? IS THERE A WAY I CAN GET IT FIXED OR GET IT CHECKED? CUZ MY VCD PLAYER IS AROUND 3 YEARS OLD NOW..

    PLZ HELP.. ANYONE...[/b]

  2. Maybe try cleaning the lens on your player with a qtip and some alcohol, it sounds like there could be some dust or crud on it. When mine starts getting dirty I get the stuttering first and then after a while "no disc" errors..Cleaning it solves it for me everytime. I usually have to do this about once every six months (heavy smoke environment)
    Hope this helps, good luck.
