  1. Hi
lets say i downloaded a divx.avi file thats 700mb.So i encode it with TMPGEnc. but then it says that the file would be bigger then 4.7GB when i just continue and watch the mpeg2 file the movie shocks a bit. But the avi file was just good so what can i change so the file will be 4.7 gb and still is good quality?Without shocking..?

    thnx!,

  2. hi the answer is simpel you have a div-x file this is already compressed that means that there are already pieces left out of the file if you then also trying to compressing it even further then there is almost nothing more to ..... thats the main reason why your file looks like sh....because mpg removes even more 'so cauled unused images'.
the reason why the file is turning bigger is that mpg need surten frames to relay on if the file does'n have any then the encoder put simpely those frames in.(that is something what i have seen in a book) but why the file so big, probebaul the fileformat of heigt and width.

  3. Well but is it true that if i convert a file with tmpgenc. that the program after a warning(that the file will become to big) makes it smaller himselff?
and how can i change width and height? thnx4all!!
