    Hi
    A friend of mine shrank a film with tmpgenc.
    I have tried to re-rip it but it has mpeg1 audio.
    I use spruce but it will not import the file even if i rename
    it to ac3
    Is there any way of converting it back to an ac3 file.

    I believe you can do it with something called Sonic Foundry Soft Encode. However, it is a discontinued product, although does appear from time to time on usenet.
