Hello,
I'm quite new to VCD thing so some help on a little question would be appreciated. In the manual of my Toshiba SD-110E it states that the player is not compatible with cd-r or cd-rw media however I burned one of my albums onto cd-r (Vivastar 700mb very cheap blue/green reflective side) and it runs perfectly through the DVD player. My questions is: Does this mean that VCD's burnt to cd-r y are also likely to play on my dvd player? Thanks very much

Hi
I have the same shitty player.
It will play writen music cd's cdr or cdrw.
It will not play vcd's .
I have been searching for a firmware update
but there dont seem to be one.
Sorry it wont play all cdr media, like cheap silvers.
It does play dvd backups perfect.
Hope this info helps.
