im haveing a problem with tmpgenc,its just a black screen

hi, someone please help me something is wrong with my tmpgenc, i use it all the time,and it worked fine now for some reason it just has a black screen but the sound works. i thought it was becauuse it expired,but i reinstalled it and it still does it. then i tried a differant movie one that i already converted before but it still does it can someone help me please??????? thanx

question...does it play correctly in windows media player?
if so...follow these steps in tmpgenc
options..environmental...vfapi....
locate directshow and right click on it
raise it to +1

If it doesn't play in windows media player, download the nimo codec pack, locate in the tools section on this site.

yes it does play in windows media player thats why i found it strange.

are you using 2pass vbr if so you wont see any pic in tmpge until it reaches 50%
