OK, I've ripped a DVD and the m2v file size is 3.13 GB. I'm using MacMpeg2 Converter to convert it to mov. It's gone through 500 MB of the m2v file and the .mov file is already 3 GB. What is up with this? I've got it set for the same screen size for the conversion and everything, it doesn't make sense that the converted file is so large. After all, I downloaded the LOTR screener DVD in mov format, A+ quality, and the two files are ONLY 700 MB each.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm working under Mac OS X....
Thanks,
Tom
