Okey , first of all its something with the audio on the .avi file.
it will not run in vdub but after i installed nimo package the audio runs under window media player.
i took the .srt file and converted it to .ssa and used the filter in vdub to get it in. after that i should start a frame server. i did so..
here is where the problem began. tempgen wouldnt open the file.vdr.avi file that i created. i tryed switching the VFAPI plugin priority but it didnt help.
so please what to do.? , i badly want the subtitle to work , becuse its a japanese movie![]()

I had the same problem. If TMPGEnc will not open the *VDR file, then open TMPGEnc two or three times simultaniously. at the second or third time, the *vdr file will be accepted. Then use ALT-CONTR-DEL and close the frozen TMPGEnc programs.
I hope this helps.The Dutchman
