  1. Thanks for the update major. Trying to add subtitles to a avi file. Worked great with previous version before leopard.
Now I set up the preset to dvd mpeg2enc, use the filter tab for the subs. It processes in seconds. Displays its finished, with no results. Tried different subtitle files, same result. Tried changing the options to 3:2, same result. Any ideas?

    from process.rtf:
    /bin/sh: /Library/Application Support/ffmpegX/mpeg2enc: Malformed Mach-o file

It seems your copy of mpeg2enc isn't capable of doing what it is asked to do.
Try downloading and installing that binary again.

  3. Thanks for the quick reply. Is the copy on the download page fine for intel macs. Trouble saving the file in firefox and safari.

mpeg2enc.intel is a Universal Binary, with PPC (G4/G5) and Intel (Core Duo/Xeon) code.

On Safari, Control-click the download link, and choose Download Linked File from the contextual menu.
On Firefox, Control-click the download link, and choose Save Link As...
Alternatively, try this zipped copy, as .zip files cause less confusion.

  5. Thanks again. Worked perfect.

  6. installing the mpeg2enc.intel went fine. still the same result. any other suggestions? thanks in advance.
