svcd to dvd wierd problems

I have a few quirks in my svcd to dvd. I tried re-encoding the svcd by using the guide. got the dvd2avi that went fine. added the plug-in for TMP, but comes up with file not supported. I've installed the .bat in the main folder but no luck. any advice. thanks

I also tried the svcd to dvd without re-encoding. followed the guide, used dvd patcher, and put in dvdit 2.5 pe. the video is distortedrunning off the right side of screen the part appearing on left. I can't figure out how to incorpate the audio back in either. confused, maybe I'm stupid and no one informed me.
