Hi,
just been trying for over a week to get CCE to convert a SVCD 480x576 .avi file to mpeg2. I get a crash / freeze at the first 15 frames of encode.
I have been trying EVERYTHING, changing avi codecs, versions of Virtualdub, installing CCE a million times, etc...finally i have the solution.
REDUCE THE LENGTH OF YOUR .AVI FILENAMES TO 8 LETTERS OR LESS.
it then encodes the file perfectly, all the way thru.
Hope this works for you.
Blackout.
