  1. Hi,

You know that you can put together wav- or mp3-files (like mixed songs or concerts) to a one big file and "split" it with a cuefile and burn it with for example cdrwin. Now I wonder if there are methods to do the same with VCD/SVCD files. If there are, how to do then?

    Please help me!

    THANX A LOT!!

I am not sure what you want: WAV and MP3 are not meant for (S)VCD, and therefore not supported by standalone players.............

    Forgot something:

MP3 is supported by some standalones, but only as a data file, not as part of a VCD....

  4. I don't know how to explain it correctly.

Okay, I can try to explain it from the beginning. You know when you burn mixed songs or concert songs to an AUDIO CD, you often have gaps between the songs when you listen to it on a NORMAL cd-player. But if you put all the songs together to a ONE big file you can "split" the songs with an cue-file and burn it with cdrwin.

All I wanted to know was if I can do the same thing with mpeg files. If I have a concert and the artist perform like 18 songs and I have 18 files. I want to put them together to ONE file and "split" it with a cuefile or something like that so when I watch it on my DVD-player there are no gaps between the songs. I want it to flow between the songs... Do you now understand what I mean now?

I hope you do it now...

    THANX!

    Yes, I understand now.......

You can do this. There are two options:

1 (NERO) add all the Mpeg files into Nero. Remove the pause between the files. It now depends on your standalone if, and how long, pauses are between the files.

2 (TMPGEnc) add all the files together, and you will have one big MPEG file with no pauses inbetween.

  6. if you join all files as a big.mpg w/tmpeg then try to use vcdeasy to create chapters as many "songs" you join
you must know the times of the begining of the "songs"
    good luck
