  1. Only recently I noticed there's the plus verison of TMPG, so I want to know what are the advantages (if there are any) it has over the normal version.
I also want to know where can I get it (if I can...).

  2. Well I downloaded the latest plus version and for now the only change I saw was that there was no MPEG-2 30-day limit. Please tell me there is more...

  3. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing more. I did purchase the Plus version of TMPGEnc however. I don't even use the MPEG2 functionality as I haven't quite graduated to making SVCDs. I'm pretty happy with my XVCDs and might not move to SVCDs until I get a DVD burner some day. I really just bought TMPGEnc Plus in order to help support its creator, as I feel it really is a wonderful piece of software.

Well in addition to supporting great software...It also has a new version of the 2 pass VBR encoding for mpeg2 in addition to the old style 2 pass VPR which the free version has for a 30 day trial. It is suppose to be faster and better.
