  1. Has anyone gotten VirtualDub to work running Virtual PC?

I have tried to encode to an avi with this prog and it looks like it is working, but after 5 or 6 hrs. I check the file and it is still at 0.

    Can someone help?

What do you mean it is at 0? Are you talking frames? what?

If you are talking disc space (which I assume you are because it "looks" and IS running). The only problem is that you cannot figure out that it is making a temporary file and wil be saved when encoding is done.

  3. Yes, the prog is running and says that dub is in progress but the mb on the file on the harddrive read "0"

    Thanks

Is the filesize 0 at the end of the encode. Everytime I uses VPC for anything it would only refresh the size once a process was completed. It would never continuously update that information. Once the encode it completed refresh the window and see if the file size is still zero.

  5. What I mean is that I have let Virtualdub run for a whole day encoding a file and it says that "dubbing is in progress.
Checking the file on the hard drive shows "0mb"file size. It is as if it is doing nothing at all.
Plus I must save it to a drive image on the virtualPC or the prog. goses into debug and never dose a thing.

    Thanks
