when i try to convert 649divx file to mpeg with TMPGEnc there is no sound ,only video is on. when i cut the file in half using virtual dub . i see before i hear . so problem all the way

why there is no sound when i try to convert it to mpeg?

did you try convert the audio to wav with virtualdub?

And you can cut with tmpgenc.
