  1. ok this is the first time downloading a movie as a bin file and I got it to play using daemon tools , but if I use nero and burn it , it will not play because its in pal format are something other than basic VCD is there away to put it on my hard drive and load it into tmpg. and change it to what I need? so that I can use it on my DVD player ..

  2. There are several tools that will let you extract the mpeg files from a (S)VCD. I use Isobuster but other posters on this board often mention VCDGear (I think). Look in the tools section.

    Oh, and BTW, thsi forum has a search link at the top of the page. If you use it you will see this topic is covered frequently.

  3. Thanks for the reply , I've tried vcdgear and used the convert bin to mpeg but once I do that it will not load in tmpg. is iso buster easier to use do I just load the cue in it are what ...thanks

  4. open the bin file with isobuster. It will show you the directory structure. Navigate through the directories displayed until you find either a large file with a .dat extension (which means it is mpeg-1 VCD) or a large file named something like AVSEQxxx.mpg (which means it is SVCD). Right click the file and select 'extract filtering mpg frames' (or something similiar, can't remeber the exact text and not at home at the mo to check) and extract the file. This definatley works for SVCD's and should be possible for VCD's but I can't claim to have done this.
