If your video source is progressive or film
do you need to figure out which field order
is correct? I was trying to encode to VCD
using dvd2avi and tmpg. I used force film
in dvd2avi because it said 98% FILM.
when i loaded the d2v film and looked
at the field order by going into the deinterlacer
and selecting even/odd field neither way A first
or B first had jumpy video. I set the source to
interlace also and it didnt do it either.
Do you need to set the field order with non-interlaced
video?
Thanks

for source video info i use
non-interlace
even field first (field order A)
fit to frame (preserve aspect ratio)
and if there r lines in yer rip, i use "de-interlace" filter w/ "blend" as my filter option
