    I have some DIVX AVI files I put onto a VCD using Nero and I get sound in my dvdplayer but just a black screen.

    Any ideas ..............

    Dont use Nero with AVI's, its rubbish, use TMPGEnc to convert them to mpeg1 with a template.

    BUT, check the AVI first for bad frames with Vdub
