When I load my .d2v file (from a VIDEO source- FILM movies always work fine) into tmpgen it doesn't always judge the field order... When it does the results look fine, when it doesn't it always "stutters"on playback. How do I make sure it always does its little 5 second "judging field order" routine?
Thanks!

I have noticed that it only does it sometimes also, though I have not noticed any problems when it does not...

Hi simmons3d,
TMpgEnc ALWAYS judge the field order, when you open source by
"Project Wizard". So, DO NOT CHANGE "Video source" for existing
project, but start new project by "Project Wizard", select source file,
and, as a last step, load desired settings template or set them manually.

Actually I agree simmons3d. When creating a batch encode 9 times out of 10 right after I select the file it judges the field order, but every once in a while you'll get that one odd ball file that doesn't, even if every other file from the set did it.
