What format is better to burn downloaded movies with? I have tried VCD and am not too impressed with the quality. Is there a considerable difference with SVCD? If I use SVCD how many minutes will fit on a 80 min cd-r? Any help wil be appriciated. thanks

SVCD is as near to dvd as you will get on cdr thats what I go for. You will fit between 50 and 60 mins of video on one cd.

I depends on what source the movie is on, if it is a vcd and the quality isnt that good it want help to convert it into a svcd. The quality should be pretty the same.
How many minutes that will fit on a 80 min cd-r depends on what bitrate the svcd is on.. but I would say about 40-50min.Helmut
